James Hsieh (Principal and Founder)
James Hsieh began his career at the University of Michigan as a lab counselor and programmer. After graduating with honors with his Bachelors of Science in Engineering, James went to work for Megatek Corporation, the University of California at San Diego, Sun Microsystems, and Oracle.
James has 30 years of experience including Software Development, Technical Marketing, Post-Sales Support, Technical Instruction, and Quality Engineering. He has worked with and supported Fortune 500 companies, helped configure systems for DoD contractors, and participated on standards committees. He has worked on many different types of UNIX systems, PCs, Macs, and helped configure and support environments ranging from small offices to mission critical data centers for large international companies. He has authored and contributed to the development of Best Practices Whitepapers and books regarding the configuration of Enterprise class systems.
